Hi, dear all:
I used ns-2 to simulate the performance of zigbee network, for which I
used p802_15_4mac and p802_15_4phy as the MAC and PHY of this network.
As it was a indoor environment so I chose shadowing propagation model
as the channel model for this simulation, but when I set the deviation
value of shadowing model to be non-zero (let's say. e.g. db=4) then my
simulation got a big problem: not all the nodes could associate into
this zigbee network !! Needless to say they could start to
communicate.
Is there anybody has worked with shadowing model as well as wpan
802.15.4 before? we can discuss about this problem if you would like
to.
