[ns] Scheduler: Event UID not valid!

2009-03-11 Thread Spyros Marinis

Hi all!
I use ns-2.33 and I am running a simulation for wireless sctp.
However the simulation stops at the very beginning, and it shows:
Scheduler: Event UID not valid!
I have read some older posts here about this, but they are all, as well as the
proposed solutions, for older versions of ns, and some of the changes indicated
are already on ns-2.33.
Can anyone help me and guide me what to do?
Thank you very much in advance. Any help will be appreciated,
Spyros

[ns] "Scheduler: event UID not valid"

2008-06-06 Thread Ahmed, Noman

Hi NS-Users

I am running WLAN in emulation mode with two nodes only and after few seconds I
get the error,
"Scheduler: event UID not valid"

Does any one has an idea why I am getting this error.

Could this be due to the VNC (virtual network computing) traffic
I am trying to send over the simulator?

regards,
Noman Ahmed

Hi guys,
I am working on a Wireless cum Wired network. I noticed that anytime I
generate movement file using setdest for my program, when the node is up to
10, it displays the error: "Scheduler: Event UID not valid".

Why is this?

Hi Everybody,

Scheduler : Event UID not valid

I am getting this error message while making some changes in ns2 code:

First I have created a new Agent & a packet header. Then in order to flood
this newly created packet to all the directly connected nodes, I am using a
for loop to at the classifier :

for (int i = 1; i

Hi Michele,
yuo can find the answer reading this page

http://www.dei.unipd.it/wdyn/?IDsezione=2435

In this page you can find a patch to solve this problem for ns 2.27. If
you use a later version of ns, send me a mail with your version.

Bye

Federico

[ns] Scheduler: Event UID not valid! without RTS/CTS

2006-08-10 Thread michelenuti

Hi NS users,
I remove RTS/CTS from MAC 802.11 (setting RTSThresh_ 3000) and now I often (but
not always)
receive this message:

Scheduler: Event UID not valid!

and the simulation stop.
Does anybody knows why and how to solve the problem?

Thanks a lot,
Michele

For the second bug, check this link:
http://www.dei.unipd.it/wdyn/?IDsezione=2435

For the third bug, I think you modified the Mac-802_11.cc/h file somehow. I
think you introduced a new type of packet having the same type as
MAC_Type_Control. Check the types and the subtypes of your packets and also
check the function Mac802_11::discard(Packet *p, const char* why) in
Mac-802_11.cc where your problem is rooted.

Subject: [ns] Scheduler: Event UID not valid!

Hi,

I have written a routing algorithm (modified AODV). I have compiled it.

When i run it i get different types of errors.

1. segmentation fault.

So If i change the movement of the nodes, i get

2.Scheduler: Event UID not valid!

Again if i change, i get

3. check_pktCTRL : Invalid MAC Control subtype.

With AODV i get only the first error and once i change the movement of the
nodes, it works fine. But thats not the case when i run the modified
algorithm.

I really donno how these errors are related. Are these errors due to ns2 or
due to my coding?

Can u please help me?
