I
have done alot a work in ns and I am just at the final stage of my my
work to get the relevant result I am looking for. I have actually got a
good result for rtp so far but when it come to udp the simulation runs
but the output file seems to to be going through the diffserv domain
though the simulation... actually runs:
I have connected my udp following the examples i got from the ns example.
I
just want to find out if there is a special way of connecting expo
traffic of udp through Diffserv domian or if I have to make some
modification in this case.
Waiting for your kind response and thanks for your understanding.Regards
Larry

I use Ubuntu 8.10 to run the NS, and when I do the command:

What version of NS are you using?

at some point im asked the following:
Please enter your java binary path []:
Does this mean I need to enter the path to install Java, or it is asking
for the java executable ? or is it something else?
I suggest you read this article[1] on installing NS2.34 in Ubuntu
10.10/Fedora 12.
