[ns] Using NS2 to simulate P2P protocol like Chord ?

Hi list,

I have designed some security extensions to a p2p protocol based
Chord,  and I want to know whether it works in practice. I wonder is
ns2 suitable for simulating p2p network?
I plan to simulate a p2p network with nK nodes, dose anybody have done it?
If somebody has Chord or any other p2p protocol code for NS2, can you
share it with me?
