Hello,
I am evaluating possible solutions for implementing a topology control
algorithm in ns-2. The goal of our implementation is to analyze the
presence of a topology control algorithm on existing routing protocols
(AODV, DSR), ... and in our special case to see whether the information
Can ns simulate overlay behavior?

Hello,
After examining some wireless ad hoc routing protocols implemented in
NS-2, I've found that AODV doesn't support hybrid ad hoc network, DSDV
and DSR support it but not very sure. For example look at DSDV code:
= from dsdv/dsdv.cc, line 890 =
dst =
If you installed the allinone package, then tcl, tk and otcl will be
installed in the ns home directory.. if not.. then hopefully you know
where you installed them. :)
export NS_HOME=/directoryofns
export
PATH=$NS_HOME/tclversion/unix:$NS_HOME/tkversion/unix:$NS_HOME/bin:$PATH

Hello ns-users,
I'm new to ns, and I'm using ns-allinone-2.29.
I've recently created an Agent that is very similar to Ping agent included
in the source. However, when I set up and run a simulation, I get this:
Bus error
The first 3 lines of my simulation look like this:
set ns [new
This looks to be equivalent to a segmentation fault
Run NS2 inside a debugger like DDD to debug it

Thanks for the help, but I started looking back through my code and found
this:
if (argc = 2)
It's nice to know what a Bus error, is now, though!

Hajer, thank you for your advice. I've try it and it does work. Now i
can go on to do modification on MYAODV and compare it with original
AODV.
I really appreciate your help.
And also thank for other people's info.

Dear Ns-users:
Has any one implemented Waiting time priority (WTP) scheduler
in ns-2? If so, can you share the code
with me?
Thankyou
