my scenario is when a router receives a packet ,it change the value in packet header and then forward how i do this in ns2

[ns] How to edit and recompile ns2 source code in Ubuntu 12.04, no package of ns2 is available

Hi All, Can anyone please tell me where is the ns2 package in Ubuntu 12.04 ?? Unlike old versions of Ubuntu where we were installing ns2 by downloading the na-allinone package, but here I installed by using three commands only. i.e. - sudo apt-get install ns2 - sudo apt-get
