I have not heard the recording, but I personally see nothing wrong with
making nice music on pipes even if, in doing so, you do not display the
essentials of good piping.

I listened to the clip. Nice music, but not what I would call good piping.
The open fingered trills grate a bit, and the staccato was damn near
nonexistent!

Whom am I slagging off?
