Try putting a spot of super glue into the hole as this will set in the
presence of oil. I have found it works very well.

I've successfully made patches from another piece of leather and stuck over
the hole using an impact adhesive such as evostick. A bit like mending a
bicycle tyre really! I expect a new bag will be needed sooner rather than
later though. Over time any oils in the bag seasoning can eventual
