Regarding the question of pitch, it is all a matter of whether one is playing on one's own or playing with others. If playing solo, it doesn't really matter what the pitch is. The problem comes when trying to play with others. Then, it's just a nuisance that the pipes aren't in true

Just in case anyone is on the lookout for a new pipe case, I have a hard-shell case with a soft, padded lining from "The Kilter Company" (a web search will find them). It is a Highland pipe case but fits my set with a long chanter perfectly. It has an envelope om the top for music or
