There is a reworked Burleigh set on ebay right now. The link is below.

That set has real ivory on it and the seller specifically states that
(s)he will not ship outside the States as a result.
Helen needs a set which can be imported to NZ, whose laws on such
things are possibly about as Draconian as they come.

However it would possibly be a good set for someone in the US!

[NSP] Re: Looking for smallpipes

2006-09-24 Thread Colin
Sorry, hit the wrong button.
It's been really quiet on the list recently so I don't know if people are
reading/have nothing to say or what (used to be fairly busy as well). The
last mail was 13th Sept so yours didn't get through (not to me, anyway).
You may be better off mailing direct to the NSP society direct in view of
the urgency.
I'm sure you already have their details.
Last one on the list was that Irish chap trying to sell his Sloan D set but
I think that would be a bit expensive.
Try Richard Evans, he may know of a set that fits (I'm sure you already know
it but) http://www.evansweb.co.uk/index.html
I'm sure he will help such a well-known artist.
Just to call me a liar, you will probably get lots of replies now!

I sent this message to the list several days ago, but haven't seen it on
the
mailings. My apologies if this is a repeat.

have a student who has been learning on a hire set for 18months and her
playing is coming on very well. Her husband asked me yesterday what chance
there is of finding a set of NSP to give her for Xmas. Apart from the time
limit and the fact that I am looking fron New Zealand, he is on a very
tight
budget! He genuinely does not have a lot of cash and I was very impressed
that he was doing this for his wife. He has gone way up in my list of good
 hubbies!
The temptation is to tell him to start saving and take longer, but I have
to
admit that I know how totally delighted she would be to get a set. She
would
 be absolutely blown away!
So have you got a seven keyed set that is in reasonably good order, or
better, that you would like to sell to a dutchman in New Zealand?
