I used to use sbackup to backup my whole file system (excluding such
directories as /mnt, /media, /sys, proc. However, sbackup does not work

This error happens if report settings are changed while no section
'report' was initialized within the configuration file so far. It was
not yet fixed as stated in comment #2 rather it is only triggered under
certain circumstances. It is fixed now by checking the existance of
section 'report'

Thank you for using sbackup and reporting this issue. sbackup 0.11.x
checks for free disk space however this feature is not supported by all
remote drives (e.g. some ftp servers don't support the retrival of free
disk space). You should find an according line in your sbackup log. I'm
closing this
