Question #147281 on sbackup changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/sbackup/+question/147281 Status: Answered = Open Vlad is still having a problem: Make sense. Thanks On Mon, 2011-02-28 at 22:07 +, Jean-Peer Lorenz wrote: Your question #147281 on sbackup changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/sbackup/+question/147281 Status: Open = Answered Jean-Peer Lorenz proposed the following answer: Hello Vlad, thanks for choosing sbackup and asking this question. I suppose you use sbackup 0.11.x? No, purge is performed only after a sucessful backup. Purpose of this implementation is to ensure to keep at least one sucessful backup. Consider the case of purging your old backups before creating a new one - and this new one fails. You'd end with *no* backup at all. In order to avoid such cases, purging is only performed after sucessful creation of new one. So, in fact there is no way to make scheduled backups if you don't have space for at least 2 full snapshots. [Nssbackup-team] [Question #147281]: Purge does'nt purge the older files
New question #147281 on sbackup: https://answers.launchpad.net/sbackup/+question/147281 I have configured purging to simply cut off backups older than 5 days to ensure I don't end up with two full backups (not enough disk space).
