Sorry Jean-Peer,

Basically the reporter wanted to use the Profile feature.
First he were using version 0.1 of NSsbackup which didn't have the feature. 
Then after setting the profile on the new version, he sees no backup made but a 
folder created by the defaut profile that were containing only a log file.
That log file is what he copied over here and what I saw in the log file is 
that the backup is finished so I suggested that there could have been a problem 
in the default backup which prevented the profile to be executed. 
But I remember having made some changes to allow profiles to be executed even 
if one of them failes. So I asked to update NSsbcackup and to retry using the 
DEBUG loglevel.

lol, je sais pas comment j'ai pu répondre en anglais alors que toute la
discussion était en français :-p . Je devais être fatigué.

Donc voici l'explication à ton problème. Le fichier de log que tu as attaché 
n'est pas celui du profile que tu voulais mais celui du profile par défaut. Par 
contre je pense que:
-soit la sauvegarde (du profile par defaut) n'était pas fini,
- soit elle s'est bloquée à un endroit est ne peut plus avancer.

Est ce que tu peux tester si tu as le même problème avec la dernière version de 
NSsbackup disponible sur le dépot ? 
Il faudrait aussi que tu mettes tout tes profiles à DEBUG sur l'onglet de 
rapport.

J'ai progressé, dans les sources je n'avais pas fait tout juste. J'ai installé 
la version 0.2-0~beta3 mais je rencontre un nouveau problème. J'ai créé des 
profiles que j'ai testé sans succès. Pour choisir un profile je clique sur 
profiles, sélectionne (Enable) celui qui me convient puis clique sur fermer. Je 
lance ensuite la sauvegarde via l'icône Backuo Now qui me renvoie le message 
"Une sauvegarde est initiée en arrière-plan. L'id du processus est: 15265.".
Cette sauvegarde ne génère ensuite qu'un répertoire 
/var/backup/2008-07-13_16.47.30.706551.cpy.ful
avec un nssbackup.log qui contient ce qui est ci-dessous et dont je ne sais pas 
quoi faire. Ce qui ne me paraît pas normal c'est que j'ai demandé une 
sauvegarde sur un disque dur externe USB (FAT32) mais  il ne semble pas en 
tenir compte. SBackup acceptait le disque dur USB FAT32.
Bug ? mauvaise config ?

Effectivement tu n'utilises pas la même version. Je ne comprends pas
pourquoi le PPA ne t'aurait pas proposer de mise à jour. As tu bien
rechargé la liste des logiciels (via le bouton Recharger dans Synaptic)?

Bonjour et merci pour cette réponse rapide.
J'ai l'impression que je ne suis pas sur la même version. Je n'ai pas les même 
écrans que que ceux que tu m'as mis en sceenshot. J'ai celle téléchargée sur 
http://www.wattazoum.fr/-Telecharger-.html
soit la
nssbackup_0.1-2 ppa1_i386.deb 
J'ai bien ajouté le dépot
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/nssbackup-team/ubuntu hardy main
mais il ne me propose pas de mise à jour.

Est-ce que je dois télécharger les sources de la version 0.1-6 ? Je ne
suis pas à l'aise avec les sources, mes expériences à ce jour n'ont pas
été concluantes.

C'est tout à fait possible , et c'est le but même de l'introduction de
la fonctionalité Profile.

Pour le faire, allez sur le bouton Profiles, créez le profile que l'on veut, le 
sélectionnez, puis cliquez sur Modifier. Vous pouvez alors remarquer sur la 
barre d'état en bas, le nom du profile que vous êtes en train d'éditer. A 
partir de là vous pouvez mettre tous les choix possibles.
