I have a question : Does this new improved nssbackup check to see whether the
file system it is writing to supports file sizes of more than 4Gb ?

nssbackup is not ready for the real world (I do NOT feel like trusting my
backup to software in alpha, or even in beta)
Is there any chance of plugging the holes in sbackup? Or is there any
equivalent which has passed testing and is reasonably stable?
This is a REAL, SERIOUS lack in
as an addendum to my previous comment: Checking the nssbackup page I see
there is no verify/notify option in nssbackup, either. So where is the
advantage?

backup suite is ready for daily use and not in alpha or beta state,
current stable version is 0.2.1. Just have a look at
