It was just to counteract miserable Marcus's predictions.

We won't need ten points to stay up. I think seven would do it.

Marcus, we had enough chances to wrap up the game in the first twenty
minutes, so you can look at it two ways;

a. We are not clinical enough..I do not buy the unlucky stance, and
b. The back five are useless, I am including Hennessy here because
despite his occaisional outstanding save, he looks very shaky to
me...mind you Gordon Banks would look shaky playing behind the likes of
Stearman, Berra and ElokobiFoley wasn't much better.

The long range efforts were poor, but on another day we may of fluked a
cracking goal.

I wouldn't be surprised if we win two of our next four, which will make
for a very nervous end of season.

Wigan, West Ham and Blackpool for the drop, with us JUST pipping
BlackpoolOPTIMISTIC or what?

RE: [NSWolves] Snatch squad

2011-04-10 Thread LEESE Matthew
I got off quite lightly to be fair. I think Rita felt genuinely sorry for me,
and why wouldn't you after seeing someone's team defend so pathetically and
manager resort to ever more defensive formations when chasing a 3-0 deficit.

Albion have chalked up 2 wins on the bounce and lifted themselves to 10th -
these last 2 games against Newcastle and (a second string) Everton were a
perfect opportunity for us to do that. Its far from over yet, but we're not
half making it hard for ourselves.

RE: [NSWolves] WTF

Right now, I'd feel more optimistic if we had Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City and
Liverpool left to play. We consistently seem to go to pieces against the
lesser teams.

Looking at the fixtures, I remain optimistic about our chances. West Ham
have some tough games coming up and we should be able to regoup in the next
two weeks and get two or three results.

Although the way our back four are playing we'd be lucky to hold Walsall
out.

You give up too easily.

Don't you know our manager is brilliant and will turn things around at half
time?
