Munro and McAlle were a great partnership for us in the 70’s! Not forgetting
Parkin and Cannock as full back’s.
What I wouldn’t give for another Parkin like fullback for this current team!
Bailey, Sunderland, Hibbit, Wagstaffe, Richards and the Doog. People forget
how good a team this was!
Always sad to see the passing of another one of the greats. I had the
privilege of watching Frank play (alongside the Doog) against Spurs and
Carlisle in 1974. He went alright that lad!

Former Wolves and Scotland defender Frank Munro has died after suffering a
heart attack at the age of 63. "Frank was the most skilful centre-half in the
country and yet he never realised it," said former club team-mate Dave
Wagstaffe. "He played the game for fun."
