Marcus, we cannot string 2 passes together going forward. I have seen 3 shots
on goal in the last 2 home games against the weaker teams in this division. We
have no discernible plan of play and are devoid of ideas. Solbakken looks like
he is out of his depth and worryingly cannot motivate the present Player's to
play his way.

It is embarrassing to watch, full stop. Dad says it has been like it all season
and that many season ticket holders will not renew if he remains in charge.

I was all for change and a new broom after MM and feel sorry for Solbakken in a
way because he has only been able to bring in a handful of his Player's. As I
said in an earlier email SM and JM must either back him with funds for new
Player's, whilst clearing out the dead wood, or bite the bullet and sack him
now. Whatever option they choose they are rooted! Might be time for more major
changes and a new Owner?

6:45am saturday kick off. I haven't watched a game this season but this
might be the one. I might not need to watch another if the performance is
bad.

There was a comment somewhere over the weekend from a journalist who said
"it wasn't a matter of Solbakken losing the dressing room - he never found
it - they never really understood what he wanted them to do." I assume DS
will be more pragmatic and will take on board something of what the players
say.

The core of this team was one of the top 20 teams in England a year ago. I
can't help thinking that turning this team around will be a really easy job.
DS did a similar job at Doncaster.

DS is supposedly a fan of 352 and Kevin Thelwell has written a book on that
formation. At least we would only have to pick three of our crap defenders
rather than four.

The latest poll on MolMix has DS's approval rating at 45% - the same as
Solbakken's just before he was sacked. Far from a popular appointment.

I'm still waiting for Rog's verdict.

I think it's interesting in the context of the manager now being one of

RE: [NSWolves] Dean Saunders

I thought they'd have shied away from appointing a foreign manager after the
Solbakken experiment.

So it seems the bookies finally got one right.

What do people think about the appointment of Dean Saunders as our new manager?
Jacquie Oatley seems to rate him as a decent bloke who has the right
qualifications and desire to succeed. I just wonder if he's going to be given
the necessary time to get the team playing a system that actually works for our
untalented squad.

Steve, nice footer. However, Wolves aren't only "charging the
people a dollar & a half to see them".  If they were I'm sure we
wouldn't care who was manager or how successful we were.

Bloody astonishingly quick turn of events after the McCarthy/Connor fiasco.

Looking forward to Saunders getting rid of a few more of the
huffersandpuffers than Ståle managed.
