Hi Paul,

Herniated disc (L5/S1). Spent 3 days lying flat on my back as I
couldn't move. Have been doing physio to see if they can ease it back
in to place. No mention of surgery thank goodness.

Cheryl has been looking after me well so I've had a good chance to rest
it so hopefully that will help longer term.

Cheers,
Marcus

Hello Marcus,

Bad news mate! What exactly is the problem?

I ruptured a disc in my lower back 8 years ago, 40% protrusion into my
sciatic nerve. Very painful for months!!

To cut a long story short after trying physio, medications etc. I had a
full month off work and did nothing but lie on my back all day. This
helped me turn the corner big time!

If your doctor is recommending surgery I would definitely recommend
getting a second and a third opinion.

Sincerely hope you are feeling better and up and about soon.

Best Regards

Paul.

Hi Paul,

I'm afraid you will need to stick someone else in between the posts for
this game. I was off work all last week and had a stint in hospital
after putting my back out. Even with these fantastic painkillers I
still can't walk properly.

Cheers,

Marcus

Dear All,

We can play Gladesville O35's 9's on Saturday morning (21/03/09), kick
off 10.30am. Pitch to be advised but in Gladesville area.

Sorry to move the game from the Sunday to the Saturday but it was
becoming increasingly difficult for Gladesville to try and book a pitch
for the Sunday.

Latest on team for game against Gladesville Sharks O35's 9's:

Marcus "the Cat" Chantry (Goalie)

Steve Millward

Mark Worrall + 1 mate

Paul Crowe

Matt Lees

Paul Courtney + 2 / 3 other Wolves fans

Dave Edwards?

Wayne (if he is up for it before his 40th birthday that night)

We should be able to scrape a team together. Anybody know how to get in
contact with Brian or with any NSWolves who have played in previous
games?

Please can you all confirm that you are available to play on Saturday
morning?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards

Paul.
