If clipboard leads us to victory on Saturday then he should keep the job until
the end of the season. We can then take our time to find the right candidate
based on whichever division we are in.

In terms of the number of names being thrown about I take this as a sign that
there's not much being 'leaked' from Molineux and that it's the press who
don't have a clue, and so are making assumptions to get their stories.

The fact that one of the 'official' bits of info to come out is that they are
conducting second interviews is a bit worrying and suggests no-one really
impressed first time round. If the names being thrown about are anything to
go by, that's not really surprising though.

RE: [NSWolves] RE: The search [sec=unclassified] [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

2012-02-20 Thread Jeremy Tonks
If I wasn't a staunch WW fan this might be fun.

We've seen some excellent analysis in this forum over the last week or so
(thanks Matthew L especially).

I hope he's right about the lack of leaking and the press having to invent.

But I really think it's managerial incompetence that has us not having a
manager ready to walk in when they sack the manager.

One of my Everton mates dropped Keane's name this morning as if it was a
done deal - no one has any idea.

.including the board L

Clippy may be the man - if he can beat 'castle then folk will follow him a
long way but I'm sure Rog will bring that lead balloon down with the odds
agin it happening.

The list of betting odds on managers is interesting - there's some promise
among them and my reservations are mainly personal prejudice about who's
worked at whatever club I hate more than Brighton etc.

I guess Poyet is not feasible - could Wolves afford to pay out the remaining
5 years of his 5 year contract?

I can't guess what any of them could do with this squad, no money and Morgan
in their ear.

. I can safely say that, at this stage of the season, I wouldn't want the
job.
