[NSWolves] Re: Activities [sec=unclassified]

I'm keen on the cider. Ooh arr! I've looked at buying it before but it's
so expensive to get in Sydney. It's Merrydown strength I think. A couple
of pints and your legs go numb.

We have two nights, exluding the match. I'd say one night in Northbridge
and one in Freeo. I'd be up for Freeo on the Thursday night as Northbridge
will probably be livelier on the Saturday. More chance of bumping into
Wolves players the night after the match too.

The Sail and Anchor and Little Creatures are both in Fremantle, last time
I went to The Sail and Anchor it sold all the Matilda Bay beers, Little
Creatures sells Little Creatures as well as Rogers and a few other top
tipples, they do a good cider too.

There are a few other great watering holes in Freo, its full of decent
 pubs.

Be prepared though, when I was over there last year it wasn't unusual to
pay $9 for a local beer.

I fancy exploring the real ale haunts of the Perth metropolis, sampling as
many different ales as I can. Do they have a double decker bus we can
hire??

The cricket's on Thursday night too.

I have a feeling that I'm about to bite off more than I can chew, but does
anyone have any specific activities that they would like to do whilst in
Perth (other than watching the match obviously)? e.g. Golf, sightseeing, or
whatever.

Meeting up for drinks should be fairly easy to organise with mobiles but it
might be worth booking somewhere for dinner on either/all of
Thursday/Friday/Saturday. Getting group bookings at places like the
'Elephant Wheelbarrow' English pub in Northbridge should be fairly easy.

It seems that the majority of us will be arriving on Thursday and then
leaving on Sunday.

Cheers,

Marcus Chantry
