It is odd. But he sounded like he'd lost his mojo in intereviews and so I
wonder if he's got the desire to compete at the highest level again. Plus
it puts him close to family. Was Cardiff his boyhood club?

Perhaps Man City didn't want him at another Prem club either. As you say, he
