Today I was working perfectly but after an OS update, I started to have

In particular, I use to put the font files (.ttf) in the same directory

document. My approach, given those answers, was create a little function to
use the serif fonts in math (using \definestartstop) but, when there is
some align involved, it produces an error :-\ .
