Re: [NTG-context] wiki: linux installation updates

The Debian page now describes how to install using Norbert's context packages. It describes a system-wide install based on those and the texlive packages. Let me know if you find errors or problems (or just correct the errors on the page). Sorry about the nightmare per-user install instructions I put there before. -Sanjoy `A nation of slaves is always prepared to applaud the clemency of their master who, in the abuse of absolute power, does not proceed to the last extremes of injustice and oppression.' (Gibbon) Thanks Sanjoy for this help, i was wondering how to install new .deb context packages made by N.Preining but was blocked by 0.25 version of tex-common on ubuntu/edgy. I've noticed that on the first lines of debian install, one should add tug repository to /etc/apt/sources.list. Maybe it will be good (for low-end/copy-paste minded users like me) to tell to **update** (and not upgrade) after adding those entries and how to add gpg key to apt (that it's was retuned after such a command) I'm not modifying the corresponding wiki page because I don't feel of mature help in that field. [NTG-context] Image logo showing up with white background
Hello folks, I am using an image to embed the logo at the top of the document. The background of my document is gray, and when I render the document, the logo shows up with a white background, over the gray background. Something similar to the \frame command. My logo image was converted from PSD (Photoshop PSD) to PDF, and I have preserved the tranparent background so that I could layer it over a background and it picks the background color instead of the white background. How do I embed my image in the document so that the background stays the background color of the document? What am I doing wrong? \def\FuxionLogo% {\externalfigure[FT_LogoV2][height=1.5\headerheight]} \definelogo [fuxion logo] [top] [middle] [command=\FuxionLogo,state=start] \setuppapersize[A4][A4] \setuppagenumbering [location={bottom, middle}] \setupcolors [state=start] \definehead[title][title] \setuphead [title] [textstyle=cap, before=\hairline, after=\hairline] \setupinterlinespace [big] \setuplayout [width=middle, height=middle] \starttext \setupbackgrounds [page] [background=color, backgroundcolor=gray] Another question I have is regarding the positioning of the logo. The logo is really close to the top. I want it to have a space at the top. How do I achieve this? Yes. It was my mistake. This was the first time I was uploading a module to the garden, and when I was asked the filename I wrote t-vim.tar.gz Later I realized that tar.gz is not supported, but I could only upload zip, and the filename was actually the directory in which the module will be stored.
