You need the latest version because 'terminalforms' (fina) wasn't  
available
in previous ones and the script option is also new (and required

through context's otf related files, but grepping all of minimals for
'terminalforms' yields nothing.


you can find in font-ott.lua the following line:

 ['fina'] = 'Terminal Forms',

to use the feature with my module you need the long name as key, it  
doesn't
matter wether you write 'Terminal Forms' (uppercase/lowercase with  
spaces),
'terminal forms' (lowercase with spaces) or 'terminalforms' (lowercase  
without
spaces) but i prefer the third alternative because it follows  
context’s syntax.

Just a remark. I didn't touch the Mac binaries for a long while (and
my mac is already resting in peace, so I cannot test).
Have any new binaries been released in the meantime?

I usually remove the "--make" switch (or it may be enough to call
--keep switch once?) to prevent remaking formats at any given time if
no updates are there. Is it possible that the make switch is turned
out on your computer as well?

(Sorry, but I really cannot test what's going on on mac, though it's a
bit strange that it behaves differently.)

 I'm trying to compile a product of a complex structure (env +
project + product).
 - My useMPgraphics are included in a product using input
 - My environment starts with :

 mainlanguage[fr]
 just before startenvironment (else the horizontal spacing are not ok
for my products, compiled as standalone documents)
 As is, the metapost processing halts on 
 ! Illegal suffix of declared variable will be flushed.

 My question is : how I can obtain french labels + french punctuation
SIMULTANEOUSLY ;)
 I use the up-to-date context/metapost from minimals... And I can't
use MK IV since I need t-vim...
 (useencoding[ffr] is not known by MK IV as typeSTUFF from t-vim)

does not create mkiv format. Do you get an error? Is the correct 
luatools being used? (i.e., does "which luatools" and "which luatex" 
point to the correct directory)

They exist and are found in texmf-osx-intel/bin

It's no problem for me: I 
never update the most recent working installation; I always install from 
scratch and only delete the old one when everything is working.

is there a way to get reserved words to bz printed \bf
(and maybe comments -> \it, strings -> \rm or another wise}

I think it is possible with lua+mk IV ; but i am working with mk II.

That means it is probably a regression caused by the backend rewrite.
I will create an item for this in the bug tracker.

It was formerly able to handle it seamlessly for very long time, only recent
