Hi Alexander,
I have no idea about what may be wrong there, but how about updating to
the latest beta?
(Make a backup copy just in case other things don’t work as expected.)
If the it was a bug and it has been fixed in a next beta, you will
profit from the fix.
And if it isn’t fixed, you may report a bug in the latest beta :-).

At one point, it looks like there was an (automatically?) generated XML file of the ConTeXt user interface; the most recent version of this that I can find is from 2006, and appears (the English version, anyway) to be out of date. Is there a more recent version of this available? And, if not: could there be?
