Hi,
does ConTeXt provide a way to place footnote (not margin notes!) per page - but not
below the body text?
A suitable place could be the margin. But there is no
\setupfootnotes[location=inmargin]
and somthing like \inmargin{\footnote{}The footnote's text.} doesn't flow.
Does anybody know a

Hello Stefan,
I prunned the example to investigate the situation further. Now I have
only two pages.
Well, how do you think anybody should be able to debug what you have
done with all the stuff in your document?
You should definitely try to reduce the file size to a minimum,

Hi Patrick,
first I want to say that I already spent several hours on that problem
and was happy to reduce the file size to 5215 Bytes. Of course I could
have done further but I thought that the file is now handy enough for
debugging. (I do not know how TeX code is debugged and what tools are

available for that task.)
There are no tools for problems like yours. So it is very important to
have a minimum (non-) working file file.
btw: with the error related to other files in the directory: did you
run

Does this distance cannot be adjusted?

Hi,
The past week has seen two major updates of the context distribution on the
pragma-ade web site. As I have done in the past, I have created a fairly
detailed list of the changes between these and the previous (2004.06.30)
version. Short summary:

Hi,
I am about to edit a book with quotes in ancient (polyphonic) greek.
How can this be done in ConTeXt?
Searching for answers I found the long and painful thread started by Thomas A. Schmitz
almost one year ago.
Do we have an easier way available today?

The same principle must apply for PCs. It might be \enableregime[win]
