That site only has the context beginners manual (and translations).
The 'manuals' on http://context.aanhet.net/svn is a check out of
pragma-ade's public svn repository containing many more manuals

Usually, just copying the contents of your bbl file into the main file

is it possible to checkout things from the http://context.aanhet.net/svn/

PROPFIND of '/svn': 301 Moved Permanently (http://context.aanhet.net)

mtxrun --script fonts --list didn't work here either until I ran

You could either use a real font name like 'Arial' or a symbolic name
defined with \definefontsynonym like 'Serif', 'SerifBold', 'Sans',
'Dummy-Regular' etc. in the second argument of \definefont but not
the name for a font collection defined with \definetype, in your case

\definefont[myChapterFont][Sans sa 1.728]

or

\definefont[myChapterFont][DummyRegular sa 1.728]

This did happen because Latin Modern Sans is the default sans serif
font,
you have to define a typescript with the desired font as sans style or
you
use a symbolic name for 'myChapterFont', in your case 'Dummy-Regular'.

\starttypescript [myBodyFont]
\definetypeface [myBodyFont] [rm] [serif] [myBodyFont] [default]
\definetypeface [myBodyFont] [ss] [sans] [myHeadingsFont] [default]
\stoptypescript

works with the definition from you because it use now Arial as sans
font.

[NTG-context] showbody* commands for non-bodyfonts ?

2008-07-14 Thread Alan Stone
Hi,

When using more than one font in a document, what is the corresponding

\showbodyfont

command for the non-bodyfont(s) ?

I tried

\showbodyfont[bodyfont](1)
\showbodyfont[non-bodyfont] (2)

and only (1) gets processed and displayed.

Same question for \showbodyfontenvironment.

When you get a script not found in an update (beta)

- make sure that you have updated the scritps

mtxrun --selfupdate
luatools --selfupdate
luatools --generate

that generate afterwards is needed (probably related to some path
cleanup; internal refs need to match)

I guess that you would need to have account on the garden (or maybe
I'm misinterpreting the purpose of rsync+ssh). I'm not the best person
to ask about server issues.

> Any chance for tarballs available instead?

There is http://minimals.contextgarden.net/pragma/ (though I do not
100% guarantee that they are always up to date they should be OK -
rebuilding the files is triggered by some events, I would need to
check which ones exactly.)

> Or maybe someone succeeded to rsync from behind a firewall?

I guess that you need TCP port 873, but if anyone has a suggestion how
to overcome this limit, we would gladly implement it on the server.
(Maybe setting rsync server on port 80 is doable if we use some other
domain?)

Can you test the following definition for item a while:

\startxmlsetups xml:item
   \startitem
   \xmlflush{#1}
   \stopitem
\stopxmlsetups

[NTG-context] xml mapping on the fly - revisit

Hello,

I while ago
(http://archive.contextgarden.net/message/20080214.090451.b23da5b9.en.html)
I asked whether the creation of a xml mapping tag was possible using mark
V. I'm about to revisit this after some long absence and would like to know
whether there's anything new and nifty which might help achieving this.

Thanks for your hints,

Re: [NTG-context] more xml in mkiv

2008-07-14 Thread Thomas A. Schmitz
Hi all,

I'm resurrecting an old thread and top-posting... For details, see
the post below. The problem was that the content of itemizations
sometimes disappeared in xml processed by mkiv. I emphasize
"sometimes": now you see it, now you don't... I can't really post a
minimal example that will be certain to display the effect, but I
have, since May, discovered one thing:

this code:

   A

will sometimes make the A disappear. This code:

A

will always work correctly. So Hans, a shot in the dark: can it be
that your lpeg xml parser can, under certain circumstances, have
trouble with linebreaks within the xml-subtree it is trying to pick
up? That would explain the mystery which had me baffled back in May.

All best

Thomas

You have to turn off the compress feature:

   \setupcite[interaction=start, compress=no]

[NTG-context] another bib-question

2008-07-14 Thread Thomas A. Schmitz
Hi all, Taco,

yet another question re the bib-module: I am wondering how to deal
with place names (or other elements) in different languages. E.g., if
a book has been published in Munich, I'd like the place to read
"Munich" when the language of the document in which the bibliography
occurs is German, "München" when the language is German. So is there
any switch that would allow me to have something like this in my .bib-
file:

address = {\iflanguageelse{de}{München}{Munich}}

Or do you have any other suggestions what I could do?

Thanks!

Does not work. Looking at t-bib, it seems that this makes the url and doi
insite the references interactive, but not the output of \cite command.
For example,

we need to avoid too many variants, so better something like extra that
contains letter and more

context core
context modules
context styles
context fonts

not more granularity

The modules are mirrored on CTAN, but Karl sent me a list of questions
(I expected that). The "problem" is that TL assumes that package names
should be the same as folders where these packages reside.

In the specific case of t-letter, that means renaming
tex/context/third/letter to tex/context/third/context-letter, else
name clash with LaTeX package letter would occur ... But some better
solution needs to be found.
