[NTG-context] correction of the question about \useURL

2009-08-07 Thread rene hassel
Hello Members,

I have a problem with the use of \useURL

\useURL[pragma-document-url][http://www.pragma-ade.com/document-1.htm]http://www.pragma-ade.com/document-1.htm%5D%5B%5D%5Bpragma-document
[][pragma-document]

with \from[pragma-document-url] I get
http://www.pragma-ade.com/document-1.htm
in the text, but not pragma-document

\useURL[geocities-url][http://www.geocities.com/alex_stef/mylist.html]http://www.geocities.com/alex_stef/mylist.html%5D%5B%5D%5Bgeocities
[][geocities]

works well with \from[geocities-url]
(In the first question I wrote: \from[geocities])
I get a reference to geocities.

May be is the problem the difference between the .htm and the .html file?

Then is the question how to handle .htm files?

best regards,

Rene van Hassel

Well... it works! Except ofcourse starting the server, there I should
replace cmd.exe with bash or something like that. Haven't tried that
yet. But main thing is: typesetting works.

as mapping is already kin dof present, if you add

   k = lower(k)
   to_features[k] = v
   to_features[gsub(k, ,)] = v

to font-ott.lua then you can say:

\starttext

We should restrict this to one alternative (besides smcp=yes) and
the last variant seems to me like the context way (lowercase keys
without spaces in it).

% \definefontfeature[smallcaps][smcp=yes,script=latn]

\definefontfeature[smallcaps][smallcapitals=yes,script=latn]

\definedfont[cambria*smallcaps] test

\stoptext

of course you need to memorize the huge feature name table

Why, you can make a table where there normal feature name (Uppercase
with spaces)
is listed together with the normalized form (lowercase, no spaces) and
the four

letter form.

if needed we can add some extra common entries, like smallcaps and
oldstyle but someone needs to collect them

Sure, the wiki is a good place for this.

[NTG-context] \currentdate and language deo

2009-08-07 Thread Thomas A . Schmitz

Hi all,

something doesn't work with language deo in the latest current.
Testfile:

\mainlanguage[deo]

\starttext

test: \currentdate

\stoptext

Switching language to de makes the file compile.

All best

I know, I did this already in the last version of my simplefonts
module where I played
with this to enable certain features which are not part of the
standard fontfeatures.

Example: \setmainfont[Delicious][oldstylefigures=yes]

What have to be removed are: spaces, number sign, hyphen, slash

better is to keep, as in:

for k, v in pairs(to_features) do
local stripped = gsub(k,%-, )
to_features[stripped] = v
local stripped = gsub(k,[^a-zA-Z0-9],)
to_features[stripped] = v
end
for k, v in pairs(to_features) do
to_features[lower(k)] = v
end

(btw, i uploaded a beta with some of last weeks fixes)

[NTG-context] Latest beta doesn't load modules

2009-08-07 Thread Thomas A. Schmitz

Hi Hans,

the latest beta is unabel to load external modules. luatools knows
where the module is:

luatools t-simpleslides.tex
/Users/tas/texmf/tex/context/third/simple-slides/t-simpleslides.tex

And yet, it claims it's unable to find it (after saying it has loaded
the module):

system  : module simpleslides.tex loaded
! I can't find file `t-simpleslides'.
to be read again
   \relax
\dodoreadfile ...ax \inputgivenfile \readfilename
  \relax \the

  \stopreadingfile

  \dododousemodules
\empty {...

\firstoftwoarguments #1#2-#1

\dodousemodules ...}}{\dododousemodules {#1-}{#2}}
  \ifconditional

l.6

Same file compiles fine with current stable.

All best
