[NTG-context] Vertical lines in layout
Hello Is there an easy way to draw a vertical dotted line in the middle of the leftmargindistance from header to footer (\textheight)? Thanks for help. [NTG-context] Problems with repeating layers
Hello I try to use layers to position a figure on top of the leftmargin area. I use code like the following: \definelayer[MyLayer][option=test] \setupbackgrounds[text][leftmargin][background=MyLayer] \setlayer[MyLayer][x=0cm,y=0cm] {\externalfigure[cow][width=2cm]} This image get's repeated every page but I only want it on the first page. The parameter state=start does not change anything. Is there a way to disable the layer on the next page. Also there seems to be a bug with \showframe. When I use this command my figure is only displayed on the first page (as desired). When I use \setupbackgrounds[page][background=MyLayer] this problem does not occur. But I have to shift the figure to place it in the leftmargin. I tried to use another concept like \definelayer[test] \startuseMPgraphic{oeps} register ("somepos-1",0cm,0cm,center currentpicture) ; \stopuseMPgraphic \setMPlayer [test] [somepos-1] {\externalfigure[cow][width=2cm]} \getMPlayer [test] {\useMPgraphic{oeps}} but that does not seem to work at all. Thanks for any help Cheers, Reza ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : http://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___
[NTG-context] Pass a lua table to metapost
I would like to pass the lua table keys and values to metapost. In the keys i have information about the paths names and in the values i have information about the label that should be draw in the center of each path (unitsquare). In my code (see attach) the table in question is "weekdays_number_and_name". I know that is possible to pass a array from metapost to lua. Is the reverse possible? thanks in advance Jorge calendario3.tex Description: TeX document ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : http://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___

I solved it partly using \startlocalfootnotes, \placelocalfootnotes, \stoplocalfootnotes in the frame. That gets me the footnote, though not running in the text, but separately in the frame. Doesn't look very good and I now have two * footnotes on e a single page, which is confusing. Besides, the footnote in the frame is too far left, it is negatively aligned with the text (which is fine on the main pages, but not in the frame). The rule=on clause does not work. For a footnote inside the frame, I can do \startlocalfootnotes[conversion=romannumerals,rule=on] That solves everything, provided I want the footnote in the frame and without a rule. What can I do to put the local footnote with the number aligned to the left side of the (framed) text? And how do I get the rule in the frame? Hi Fabrice, output is fine with beta from 2014.12.06 14:20.(latest beta), with beta from 2013.05.28 00:36 (the one that came with TeX Live 2013), with beta from 2014.01.03 00:40 (latest stable [AFAIK]), and betas from 2014.03.07 11:42 and 2014.07.14 19:25 (two random ones I kept). Output is wrong with beta from 2014.11.26 21:43. (I don’t have other betas available.) As Otared suggested, updating your ConTeXt Suite will solve the issue.
