I suppose that it is fine that Dante is a member of that association. We will
lift on their possibilities to fetch info and being involved with it. I think,
that the ConTeXt group as such has little to profit from a membership…

My problem was not related to \language or \mainlanguage.
It was the side-effect of a different mistake: \startnotmode
that was not closed by a \stopnotmode.
