[NTG-context] updating modules

2018-02-16 Thread Pablo Rodriguez
Dear module maintainers,

I have updated the t-handlecsv module two days ago
(https://modules.contextgarden.net/cgi-bin/module.cgi/action=view/id=86).

I thought upgrade in the ConTeXt Suite would be automatic, but I have
just downloaded a new copy and t-handlecsv wasn’t update.

Is there any way to enable automatic module updating in the ConTeXt
Suite when the a new version for the module is released at
https://modules.contextgarden.net/?

Many thanks for your help,

Pablo

Hello,

suppose having code:

\starttext

section title}

  See \about[sec].
\stoptext

It produces:

"
1 This is a very long and important and unshortenable section title
See “This is a very long and important and unshortenable . . .”.
"

Is there a way to replace ". . ." in the link "See ---"?

I'd rather use "\textellipsis" or text "(\textellipsis)" at the place
of shortening (instead of ". . .").

Is it possible?
No, you can only change the width of the text (set a big value and it
won’t be shortened).

\setupreferencing[width=\makeupwidth] % default: .75\makeupwidth

sure, nice for the ctx meeting (i can just grab and adapt code that is

fwiw, the current luatex vf interface is stepwise made a bit better as
mixing pdf code into shapes is kind of tricky wrrt the backend character

look into it

For sudo, yes. But that is unrelated.

The error is a lua error (‘lower expects a string, not nil') in this line:

font-dsp.lua:3324 name = lower(extras[readushort(f)]),

Which makes some sense as ttx reports:

$ ttx -t STAT -y 0 ArabicUIDisplay.ttc
Dumping "ArabicUIDisplay.ttc" to "ArabicUIDisplay#1.ttx"...
Dumping 'STAT' table...
WARNING: name id 256 missing from name table
WARNING: name id 256 missing from name table
WARNING: name id 256 missing from name table
WARNING: name id 256 missing from name table

So I think you need a guard in font-dsp and/or fetch the name from some backup
location?

Drop me a line if you need a temporary copy of the font.

Best wishes,

Taco

Hi Hans,

Thanks a lot, the function nuts.dimensions seems to work again as before.

assume the number of push nodes and pop nodes is balanced. Currently I
see 2 pop for 1 push in shipouts callback (but balanced pop/push nodes

meant for production as it's the branch where we put in code that we

i'll check it but if you're on windows you're running the (currently

Hans, it's the same problem I reported about a week ago, and in my

something is fishy about this font or about the way context treats it...
One thing that could help: is there a tracer that could show more

you can look into the cache and see what names.tma mentions (and save
the xits bit for later comparison when it fails)

as i can't replicate it here i need that info

it could relate to multiple xits on the system and hashing in lua
(traversing a hash is kind of random each run)
