In the recent versions of LMTX I've been having trouble with finding my own typescriptfile -- type-sourceserifpro.tex (attached) This file lives in the working directory of all of the other project files, and is also here: ~/lmtx-20201218/tex/texmf-fonts/tex/context/user/type- sourceserifpro.tex This file is found and executes correctly with: lmtx-20200920 but fails with: lmtx-20201218: fonts > typescripts > unknown library 'sourceserifpro' (Latin Modern is substituted for Adobe's Source Serif Pro.) [NTG-context] Update for old computers
Hi! When there is an update of lmtx, is it for all versions (Windows, Linux and x32 and x64)? I have an old laptop running Linux (16.04) but it is x86 32bits. I can use it for lmtx, even it this one is not updated as regularly as the Windowsx64 on my main computer. I just want to know when I should update the Linux version. Thanks for your work Hans. [NTG-context] a new book has been published, made with the help of ConTeXt
Dear readers, With great joy and a sense of relief I can now announce that my latest book, _A Manual of Modern Kannada_ by Robert Zydenbos (Heidelberg / Berlin: CrossAsia E-Publishing, 2020), a teaching manual of the Kannada language (Kannada belongs to the Dravidian family of languages, mainly spoken in southern India; also in the city of Bangalore, the 'Silicon Valley of India') has been published. It is an Open Access publication, which means it is available as a gratis download in PDF format from https://crossasia-books.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/xasia/catalog/book/736 (the clickable button “Buch herunterladen” means “Download book”; “Buch kaufen” means “Buy book”, for those who want a real book on paper). I was working on this book for the past few years and decided that the only affordably sensible way to achieve presentable results would be to use TeX, but plain TeX was too cumbersome, and in LaTeX the tables were difficult (and the book has many, many tables in various shapes and sizes). ConTeXt was The Solution (and has been duly mentioned in the technical note at the end of the book, with special thanks to Hans, Wolfgang and Pablo for valuable suggestions). [NTG-context] Using ConTeXt to create dictionnaries
Hi! In 2009 I did participate to EuroTeX. This was the year when TeXworks was presented. One of the presentations was the use of ConTeXt (mkiv?) to create a dictionary. I think for a linguistic edition using a data base and ConTeXt to create the final edition. Is it possible to have some details and, if possible, some contacts; a friend is interested in this system for the edition of dictionaries (en Esperanto). Thanks for the information. LMTX, they are gone.
In LMTX, how can I achieve the following without using selectors:
(Different heading and reference texts for descriptions)

I want to do this in ConTeXt too! Can anyone tell me how to translate
“\setmainfont{Kedage}[RawFeature={mode=harf;script=knda;}]” into ConTeXt? This
could be the key to using MkIV with Indic scripts.
