Re: [NTG-context] ntg-context Digest, Vol 63, Issue 7

2009-09-06 Thread rene hassel
Hello Everybody,

this innerproduct goes well:

# begin:

\define[2]\innerprod{\langle#1,#2\rangle}

 \starttext

\innerprod{\,x}{y} + z

\stoptext

# end.

best regards,

Rene'

 Hi everybody,

 I am trying to define a command for inner products. I would like to
 type $\innerprod{x, y}$ and obtain in the output x, y. Now, I
 defined

 \define[2]\innerprod
  {\langle #1, #2 \rangle}

 but then, when I used the command, I got some weird behavior: the next
 character after y would jump in the inner product. For example,
 when writing

 $\innerprod{x, y} + z$

 I was hoping to obtain as an output

 x, y + z

 But I got as an output

 x, y + z

 I am using the ConTeXt that came with MacTeX 2008 (I downloaded it a
 few days ago).

 Best,

 Guilherme

[NTG-context] How to move an inframed block?

2009-08-13 Thread rene hassel
Hello Everybody,

does somebody know how to move an inframed text, or framed text,
RELATIVE to another framed text ( or inframed text).

Minimal example:

### begin example:

 \setupcolors[state=start]

\starttext

\framed{\inframed{Hello} Everybody}

\stoptext

### end example.

How to move \inframed{Hello} relative to the framed text \framed{
Everybody}?
Idea is to have a framed text with a head like Example, Definition or
Theorem,
just as the Zapf-examples in the MetaFun manual on page 132 and further.
But I want a solution without the use of MetaFun.
Can I put the text Hello in a frame on the boundary of the frame \framed{
Everybody}?
If so, I'm interested how the backgrounds or overlays of the different
frames react.
I'm intersted in an easy solution,

best regards,

[NTG-context] correction of the question about \useURL

2009-08-07 Thread rene hassel
Hello Members,

I have a problem with the use of \useURL

\useURL[pragma-document-url][http://www.pragma-ade.com/document-1.htm]http://www.pragma-ade.com/document-1.htm%5D%5B%5D%5Bpragma-document
[][pragma-document]

with \from[pragma-document-url] I get
http://www.pragma-ade.com/document-1.htm
in the text, but not pragma-document

\useURL[geocities-url][http://www.geocities.com/alex_stef/mylist.html]http://www.geocities.com/alex_stef/mylist.html%5D%5B%5D%5Bgeocities
[][geocities]

works well with \from[geocities-url]
(In the first question I wrote: \from[geocities])
I get a reference to geocities.

May be is the problem the difference between the .htm and the .html file?

Then is the question how to handle .htm files?

best regards,
