[NTG-context] About newtexexec.rb
I found in the folder ...\scripts\ConteXt\ruby a
file newtexexec.rb . I try it on some file and I obtain a good
result.
But I have two problems :
1)after having write the resulting pdf file (after
the first run) the hard disk seems to write or to read many seconds and then the
program seems to run again
2)the following file :

\startuseMPgraphic{fig}draw unitsquare scaled
3cm ;\stopuseMPgraphic
\starttext\useMPgraphic{fig}\stoptext
**
gives a pdf but without the expected
square
(the file gives a good result with
texexec)
I am very curious about newtexexec.rb : I begin to
learn Ruby
some weeks ago.

I have the same result with texexec --make --language=en I have a Windows XP system and TexLive 7 What is the problem ? [NTG-context] TeXexec and TeXLive2004
I tried to install TeXLive2004 ; latex runs well but when I try to run texexec I have the following error message : === irun : no perl.exe script of name texexec.pl can be found. Aborting irun : CreateProcess 3 === I have an environment variable PERL5LIB=C:\MesPGM\TeXLive\xemtex\perl\lib;C:\MesPGM\TeXLive\xemtex\perl\site\lib What is wrong ? [NTG-context] Problem with \button
I have found the following somewhere in the
documentation.
\button{...}[the chapter on
whatever]\button{...}[otherdoc::some
topic]\button{...}[previouspage]\button{...}[PreviousJump]
I have tried them : all run very well except
\button{...}[otherdoc::some topic]
How can I replace some topic to indicate a chapter
in otherdoc or a page ?
