 Hi,

I uploaded a new beta. The biggest new thing is that there is yet another
table mechanism: extreme tables. There is a manual too:

It would help the navigation if the manual has a hyperlinked table-of-contents.
For some reason it does not.

Indeed. I just downloaded the 30 May 2010 version of Mathalign.pdf
from the link you provided and visual inspection of the section 4.2
reveals no subformula equation labels in the examples. All tags are
numbered from (10) to (28) and non is in the form of (1a). It seems
that subformulas did not work for the author either.

Mojca, Aditya
thanks for your replies.
http://dl.contextgarden.net/distribution/git/ is hopelessly out of

[NTG-context] how to flip even pages upside down??

2010-11-27 Thread Leo Razoumov
Hi List,
I am a new ConTeXt user coming from LaTeX background.
To print duplex on my printer I need to flip even pages upside down. I
looked into section 3.7 Arranging Pages of the latest ConTeXt manual
(2010-10-26). It shows how to setup very elaborate page compositions
but somehow I failed to find a solution for my little problem.

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

Uh? Use the right printer driver and set the automatic duplex mode to
 short edge/side?
Do you have any good reason to do that directly with your pdf instead of
 using the printer configuration?
 If yes, then http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Reference/en/setuparranging

Currently I am using pstops filter to flip off pages. Reading
ConTeXt manual I got captivated by sheer power and flexibility of
ConTeXt. It can produce quite elaborate booklet layouts with up to 32
pages/sheet. Just flipping every other page should be possible as
well. Being a newbie I simply do not see how.

 \starttext

 \stoptyping

 Note the [tab] before Some.

It works fine with context mkiv 2010.07.30 and luatex, version
beta-0.64.0-2010111215 on Ubuntu-9.04.
No errors.

What is your luatex version?

[NTG-context] wrong name of a *.top file

2010-11-21 Thread Leo Razoumov
Hi All,
I am a new ConTeXt user coming from LaTeX background. I am using
ConTeXt minimals current version on Linux (Ubuntu-9.04)
ConTeXt ver: 2010.07.30 11:35 MKIV fmt: 2010.11.18 int: english/english
LuaTeX, Version beta-0.64.0-2010111215

My file is named foo.11.tex (notice two . in a filename). After
running context foo.11.tex a bunch of files get created with the
names such as
foo.11.log
foo.11.pdf
foo.11.tex
foo.11.tuc

In addition there is a file named foo.top but NO foo.11.top.

Inspecting the file foo.11.log I noticed the line:

systems : no foo.11.top

Please, correct me if I am wrong but I think that proper name of the
*.toc file in this case should be foo.11.top and not foo.top.
Somehow the present of two . in a filename messed up context/luatex.

If I rename the file to, let say, foo-22.tex with only a single .
remaining, then problem is gone and the file foo-22.top is properly
generated and loaded.
