Re: [NTG-context] Adding a space between multiple years from same authors

2013-12-10 Thread Steffen Kram
That was the file I already looked at. But it does not contain no logic to
format those dates. If I search for all commas in that file, none of them are
used to format dates.

Thanks for the pointer but it does not solve my case.

Cheers, Steffen

Is it possible to get the newer beta up to the context suite soon. Or is there

[NTG-context] Problems with bibtex in current beta

2013-07-17 Thread Steffen Kram
Hi all,

I've got still problems with the latest beta. I used first_setup.sh to setup my
basic environment, and then I replaced the slightly older beta, as Marco
suggested, with the current version from
http://pragma-ade.com/context/beta/cont-tmf.zip.

Now, if I try to build my doc, no bibtex is generated. I use the following
bibtex setup:

\setupheadtext [de][pubs=Literaturverzeichnis]
\setuppublications[numbering=no, alternative=apa-de, refcommand=authoryears,
autohang=no, criterium=cite, sorttype=bbl]
\setuppublicationlist[style={}, after={\blank}, criterium=text]

\setupbibtex[database={papers,books,articles,reports,urls}, sort=author]

To make sure, none of my libraries contains an error, I also replaced them with
sample.bib file from the wiki.

\setupbibtex[database={sample}, sort=author]

During the tests I always removed all generated bibtex artifacts. But I still
end up with a main.blg file saying:

This is BibTeX, Version 0.99d (TeX Live 2013)
Capacity: max_strings=15, hash_size=15, hash_prime=127507
The top-level auxiliary file: main.aux
I couldn't open style file cont-au.bst
---line 2 of file main.aux
 : \bibstyle{cont-au
 :  }
I'm skipping whatever remains of this command
I found no style file---while reading file main.aux
You've used 0 entries,
0 wiz_defined-function locations,
85 strings with 495 characters,
and the built_in function-call counts, 0 in all, are:
…

The main.aux contains

\citation{*}
\bibstyle{cont-au}
\bibdata{sample}

and the main.bbl stays empty. I just don't get it, this did work and I even
tried to compile a known working version. Do I have to initialize bibtex
somehow?

Thanks for any suggestions!

[NTG-context] PDF-Toc text is wrong for new \start… commands

2013-07-16 Thread Steffen Kram
Hi all,

I just converted my thesis from the old \chapter format to the new
\startchapter … commands, to be more flexible when defining the titles for toc
etc. If you're just giving a title, e.g.

\startsection[
   title={my fancy section}
]
bla
\stopsection

then the title is correctly displayed within the document. Nevertheless, it
ends up enclosed in curly braces in the PDF-Toc. My current workaround, if I
put a comma after the title

\startsection[
title={my fancy section},
]

it looks fine. Guess this is bug, not expected behavior.

Cheers,
Steffen

Re: [NTG-context] PDF-Toc text is wrong for new \start… commands

2013-07-16 Thread Steffen Kram
A similar problem occurs, when using references:

\startsection[
title={my fancy section},
]

\startsubsection[title={first subsection}]
\in{see}[secsub]
\stopsubsection

\startsubsection[
title={second subsection},
reference=secsub
]
foo
\stopsubsection
\stopsection

the \in reference does not work, as long as you don't declare the reference as

\startsubsection[
title={second subsection},
reference=secsub,
]

Since other context commands don't work that way, I guess something is wrong …

Re: [NTG-context] relative references?

2013-07-07 Thread Steffen Kram
Hi Wolfgang,

I already tried using \setuphead[…][prefix=+], this are my definitions:

\setuphead [chapter][command=\ChapterCmd, style={\ss\bfc}, page=right,
number=yes, frame=off, placehead=yes, align=left, before={},
after={\blank[3*line]}, header=nomarking, prefix=+]
\setuphead [section][style={\ss\bfb}, page=no, number=yes, frame=off,
placehead=yes, align=right, before={\testpage[6]\blank[2*line]},
after={\blank}, prefix=+]
\setuphead [subsection][style={\ss\bfa}, page=no, number=yes, frame=off,
placehead=yes, align=right, before={\testpage[6]\blank[line]}, after={},
prefix=+]

But I can't get cross-chapter reference to work, e.g. a subsection in my second
chapter is defined as

\chapter[basics]{foo}
…
\section[development]{bar}

referencing this from my fourth chapter with

\in{Abschnitt}[basics:development]

just produces Abschnitt ??. Have I set up something wrong?

Thanks!
Steffen
