Hi all
I'm trying to setup captions for figures with mkiv. I found this page on the

Hello,
Does anyone else have the following
problems with numbering for figures, equations etc in MKIV
1. Using \setupnumbering[way=bysection]
does not work
2. The colour of references to figures
etc is wrong.
The example below illustrates the problems.
Try compiling in MKII and MKIV and note

Hi,
In reply to Hans, I am using the latest beta (ConTeXt version 2010.02.25

In MK-II I use \setupnumbering[way=section] to number math formulae by
section.
What is the equivalent for MK-IV ?

Hello,
I placed 150+ tiny images (distributed over several chapters) and want
continuous figure numbering for the whole publication, so I have set up
numbering like this:
\setupnumbering[satus=start,way=bytext]
At the end of the document, I repeated the same images but now in larger
format

\setupsection [subsubsection][conversion=persiannumerals]
\setupfootnotes[conversion=persiannumerals]

t; such that the numbering does not include the chapter number?
(Stirred into action by a namecheck :-))
This will change all numbering to just be sequential throughout a text,
rather than run by chapter:
\setupnumbering[way=bytext]
