Dear ConTeXt folks, The TeX Users Group is sponsoring a user-oriented regional conference on the practical uses of TeX, July 19-22, 2004 in San Francisco. For the sake of publicity and announcements, we were wondering if there is sufficient interest in ConTeXt to list it as a conference topic.
The primary topics of the conference will be LaTeX and AMS-LaTeX. However, we do want to include other TeX documentation systems, so that TeX users will be aware of and know how to use other tools. In previous TUG conferences Hans Hagen has held workshops on ConTeXt, which have been well-received. Some preliminary information is available at http://tug.org/practicaltex2004.
