Hi, I just tested the below MWE! It worked with the latest beta MKIV (--modules=all), an three day old beta, and with the TeXLive 2013 (MacTeX) No errors. Running via TeXShop on a Mac OS 10.85 I can only assume that something is wrong with your set-up! maybe a path problem and the wrong TiKZ is being loaded. reagrds Keith.
