Re: [NTG-context] Backgrounds has changed in latest lmtx
Hi Thomas, Sorry for answering too late… Meanwhile you found the culprit :-) Anyway, I cleaned the cache, did a rebuild and typeset your example files. They do typeset, but as you pointed out the math font is from LMR, not Stix as you specified. Best regards: Otared > On 23 Oct 2022, at 21:52, Thomas A. Hi Thomas, Your example does indeed show the issue I had reported on with Simpleslides: the backgrounds of the slides are not as expected. So it seems that beginning with version 2022-10-15 something has changed with Metapost or the background mechanism. Best regards: Otared > On 21 Oct 2022, at 11:32, Thomas A. I installed the 2009-01-18 yesterday at home on my mac. Everything works fine! Now I re-reinstalled the 2009-01-18 on the windows machine at work, and I get the same result as before: no gray background. I even did the texexec --make metafun --standalone from Wolfgang, but still no background. I noticed that on the win system the filename-mpgraph.4000 etc. and -mpgraph.keep files don't appear at all; they do appear of course with 2008-10-31. Appearently these are holding the code for the background. Any ideas? Re: [NTG-context] backgrounds: help needed
I am still a bit confused about textbackgrounds. So I created a wiki page http://wiki.contextgarden.net/TextBackground (in order to try to confuse others!) I have two questions: 1. The live conTeXt of the wiki does not show the background, whereas the code works using the context minimals. Why? 2. Setting background=screen as opposed to background=color, backgroundcolor=middlegray doesn't work (live minimals). Why? Can anyone help here? Beyond details.pdf, I have not found many explanations.
