Hello all,
I'm learning a little bit of metapost language, using metafun manual.
I made some background for a title (surely the code is awful, thanks
for suggestions of improvement) but it's static, i'd like to adapt it to
the widthof the text. I don't know if it is possible from my code

Here's an ugly solution using a box. Maybe there's a more clean
solution.

A lucky guess did me look into the code. Whereas I got no results with [align=]
it turns out that [itemalign=flushright] does the trick. Spares you the ugly
solution. Maybe someone more apt to do things in the contextgarden, will be so
kind as put this there.

Hi,
How could I embed \startletter/\stopletter in a macro please?
This does not work:
--8---cut here---start-8---
\usemodule[letter]
\def\myStartLetter{\startletter}
\def\myStopLetter{\stopletter}
\myStartLetter
\input tufte
\myStopLetter

That's indeed much better :)

Hi,
how is \lesshyphens supposed to work? According to the source it's
supposed to increment the current value of lefthyphenmin and
righthyphenmin. But apparently I'm mistaken, it has no effect
whatsoever. Can someone enlighten me?
\setuplayout [width=3cm]

Hi,
I uploaded a beta. This will be the last one useable with pre-0.75
luatex so if you depend on it, best make a snapshot now.
Some 50 files will be replaced in 0.75 and I'm not sure when Mojca will
do the 0.75 garden update.

What is the normal way to download LuaTeX beta binaries? I run on Windows.
(I had tried 'first-setup.bat --context=beta', but I still end up with
luatex beta-0.70.2-2013021710.)

Hi,
It seems, that \characteralignmentmode=2 and align=flushright do not
work together:
--8---cut here---start-8---
\setupTABLE[offset=0em]
\setupTABLE[c][1][align=flushright, alignmentcharacter=., aligncharacter=yes]
\setupTABLE[c][2][align=flushleft]

When you fetch the distribution you get two binaries - one
I only have one luatex.exe that came from the context install:
It is context/tex/texmf-mswin/bin/luatex.exe
Where would the second one normally be?
