I tried use the mptopdf command to convert a figure generated by mpost
into a .pdf file, and got following error:
!pdfTeX error: pdftex.exe (file ec-lmr12): Font ec-lmr12 at 600 not found
== Fatal error occurred, no output PDF file produced!

the root cause is the macro, I don't think any macro language can
solve it gently.
what we can do is hack, maybe not only one.
