In web app development you often look for people with framework-XY
skills; in typesetting you only look for a typesetter... Or are your
experiences different?

Maybe someone look for for a typesetter with ConTeXt skills :)
Seriously, I think the best way to promote ConTeXt is to use it in
as many commercial projects as possible.

In my products I always write typeset with open source software -
TeX, ConTeXt, GNU LilyPond in the imprint.

Think of it as seasoning

. F(blah) [food without salt] can be boring
. F(noise, blah) can be really tasty

I feel we can create similar wiki section, Typesetters for Hire, and
promote it in some way. Don't we?

removed my account since I never used django for a real project

[NTG-context] Typesetters for Hire wiki page

2008-09-19 Thread Vyatcheslav Yatskovsky
Hello everyone,

I want to make something real using ConTeXt, e.g., typeset a book, but I
have no orders yet.

Tonight I was surfing Internet and found an open source framework for
Web, Django. (It is the name of famous gipsy jazz guitarist, btw). The
interesting point is that the site has the list of developers seeking
enployment. Please look at
**http://code.djangoproject.com/wiki/DevelopersForHire

I feel we can create similar wiki section, Typesetters for Hire, and
promote it in some way. Don't we?

Best regards,
Vyatcheslav Yatskovsky
