Hi Aditya, Yes indeed you are right… \setupbackgrounds[header][text][bottomframe=on, framethickness=0.4pt] works fine but then the ruler of the bottomframe is too close to the text. Since Thomas Kreuzer did not provide a minimal example, it is not clear what he wants exactly. Best
