That looks correct. Be sure to flush dns on the machine doing the lookup. To be sure you should first do an nslookup on the domain's MX and make sure you get mail.imcu.com nslookup Set type=MX Imcu.com That should return mail.imcu.com Then check the A record for mail.imcu.com and you should

You are accessing it from external though. External is working fine. I am wanting an internal zone since my domain is imcu.local and my mail is imcu.com... I hope to God you can use the internal ip address from the wild. That would send me home in a bucket. From: Steve Ens

Mr. or Ms. ITLists, it appears you have a bad or incomplete A record for mail.imcu.com. However, nslookup is not a good tool for DNS troubleshooting; I would suggest you use 'dig' (it's part of the BIND tools package) with the 'debug' option to tell the DNS server not to search recursively. On
