The Security Rollup can have conflicts with certain array controllers (e.g.
cpqarray.sys). Result: BSOD

Yeah, I had big problems on Compaq servers
I always DL and install the latest SoftPaq before doing this fix. For
me, that has avoided this issue all together.

There's a note on the MS site indicating what to do before you run the
rollup. The directions basically say to update everything in CIM before
you
do the patch.
Once that's done - it should be a snap.
