Plus, theres the option to save the attachment back to the email, which
will make it available again from that same email.
Loads of fun. Can almost always be found in the temp folders...

I believe attachments are first saved to a temporary file directory. Unless you
save what you've done to a different location, it's toast.

Well, not sure why it *ever* works, but I think the reason it *doesn't* is
because they are caching a copy of the attachment and editing the cached
copy, so when they save it, they're saving it back to cache.
