Be sure you are using the TO field rather than the FROM field in your
rules
I put in an MS Outlook rule to filter these newsgroup items to a special
folder, and most get routed to the folder, but not all, for example the
one below.
Anyone experiencing this? Any ideas?

Yeah, I had big problems on Compaq servers with array controllers.
The rollup package overwrites scsiport.sys with a newer file which does not
work correctly with certain array controllers giving lovely blue screens
when you restart (Stop 0xA Blue Screen Error). Caused major panic
Has anyone encountered any problems using the post MS SP6a Security Rollup
Package?
The Security Rollup can have conflicts with certain array controllers (e.g.
cpqarray.sys). Result: BSOD

Yeah, I had big problems on Compaq servers
I always DL and install the latest SoftPaq before doing this fix. For
me, that has avoided this issue all together.

You install the SoftPaq before the hot fix, or after the hotfix but before
rebooting?

Hi All,
This problem is cause by an incompatibility with the Compaq Drive Array

I don't know what I would do if someone actually checked the archives before posting a
question like this. Yes I do, I would never see it because it would have been
answered already.
Yep, there were a couple of issues with this. The biggest one, that I remember, only
came into play if you
Make sure you're not running MS Intellipoint 2.x on any of the machines,
otherwise your keyboard and mouse won't work upon reboot.

Yes. It blew up an exchange server (5.5sp4) to the point of BSOD.
I had to restore from tape :(
All other servers in the domain were fine (post srp install) so I don't
know what the issue was/is. I will not touch this box with the srp exe
file ever again.

There's a note on the MS site indicating what to do before you run the
rollup. The directions basically say to update everything in CIM before
you
do the patch.
Once that's done - it should be a snap.

Was it a Compaq? Did you update the CPQArray drivers first?

Yes, if you have a Compaq server with a Compaw RAID adapter, you must update
the driver before the Rollup rebut. IF you don't you get a BSOD with
IRQL_NOT_LESS
Only solution then is parallel install and copy the driver.
