Don't know much about ME other than it's a stripped out version of W2K. Can
you look at the logs or do a Ctrl-Alt-Del and look at what's running when it
slows.

only gives a 9x memory breakdown (like how much memory its taking)

Is Fastfind (comes with MS Office) running? It will index the hard drive
every couple of hours and can really put a hit on slower machines.
