Hi Everyone!Just wondering if y'all could recommend a book or other learning resource for learning Python... especially if it's oriented towards Nuke and other 'film-y' software.I'm not a complete novice to programming/scripting, but I also haven't really done it in a long time... e.g. BASIC,
I posted a short video clip showing the sort of problems I’m having with Nuke
on my secondary monitor—whether single screen layout or dual. Here’s the
link...

When Nuke is open on the Secondary monitor, it will not take clicks from a
Wacom mouse/pen correctly. This
I wonder if a dual monitor lag and the Wacom tablet with dual monitors problem
are somehow related...
I haven’t noticed a lag like that with dual monitors on 6.3 yet, but I haven’t
really done any intensive work in 6.3 yet either thought.
Just a thought

Hey all--I'm a former editor with 15 years in Hollywood... I'm back in school finishing up a degree in VFX (last quarter! yay!)Here at school... the Nuke install seems to be slightly misconfigured. I am unable to save the preferences and get an error saying "Can't create P:/.nuke" when I attempt
If it’s what I think it is... it just means that the next pulldown choices are
determined by the current pulldown selection. Sort of like this...

How it’s implemented in 6.3... I’m not sure yet...
Sorry to keep responding to my own messages, but I need to add this little bit
of info too...
If I have Nuke on a single window on the *main* screen, mouse clicks work fine.
If it is on the secondary monitor in the same single window (Default 1
factory settings), the mouse clicks *do not* work
Can you render Quicktimes on a render farm? I thought that was pretty much an
image sequence kind of deal.
Render image sequence on renderfarm – Load image sequence into Quicktime Pro
or Nuke on local machine – write out Quicktime movie in the appropriate format.
That’d be the way I’d do it.
I’m betting these spam messages are coming from the new forum side of this
list. Unfortunately, PHPBB based forums seem to be spammer magnets. :-(

What would cause an ‘attempting to evaluate rotopaint without context set’

This is probably a quick easy question to fix...
In the startup console, I’m getting xml error : 4 which seems to be an element
path not found error I think.
Which file should I be looking at to fix this? It doesn’t seem to be causing
any problems, but I don’t particularly like having any
